We started this because the first version of it was not good enough.
There was an earlier DaDaark card platform. It worked, people bought it, and then we read our own code properly and found things we were not willing to keep selling: profiles numbered /1/, /2/, /3/ that let anyone page through every customer, and an encryption key committed to the repository.
So we stopped, and rebuilt it. Not a redesign — a rewrite, with the specific failures of the old one written down as rules the new one is tested against on every single change.
That is the whole reason the security page on this site has specifics on it instead of the word 'encrypted' four times. We know exactly which mistakes are easy to make here, because we made them.
How we work
Hosted where our customers are
A card is tapped while two people stand together in Dhaka. Sending that request to Singapore and back is a choice, and we made the other one.
One payment, and we mean it
No subscription appearing in year two, no per-seat fee that grows with a company's headcount. The card is bought, not rented.
Claims you can check
We do not publish a customer count we cannot show you. Everything on the security page is a thing in the code, and the API documentation is public before you have paid us anything.
Your data stays yours
Export it whenever you like. If you would rather we never held it at all, the Self-Hosted package exists precisely for that.
